Celebrate St Andrews day in style this year in George Square, with Scottish performances throughout the day and a wee evening ceilidh to bring the St Andrew’s celebrations to a close.
Enjoy a full day celebration of all things Scottish in George Square this St Andrew’s day, kicking off on with some Scottish storytelling.
There will be stuff going on all day in George Square (full timetable below) with kids story sessions, puppet shows, pipe bands and much much more before Celtic rock band ‘Gunna Sound’ bring the day to a close with a fantastic ceilidh. Don’t worry if you don’t know the moves. Whether it’s the Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant or Strip the Willow, there will be expert Callers to guide you through the dances.
