After selling out all 120 dates on her debut tour, Sarah Millican is back on the road and returns to the 2012 Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival with a brand new show.

Sarah Millican grew up in South Shields and didn’t start performing comedy until her late 20′s. She hadn’t been into a comedy club until the night of her first gig.

Her debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe show ‘Sarah Millican’s Not Nice’ was based around her divorce, and won the if.comedy award for Best Newcomer in 2008. In spring 2009 she began previewing her second Edinburgh show, attracting enthusiastic reviews for her material on the battle of the sexes.  ’Typical Woman’ ran at the Pleasance throughout August 2009, also attracting positive reviews. Last years ‘Chatterbox’ show, was hosted by was nominated for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award, but lost in the end to Russell Kane.

A consummate live performer, she has notched up a number of appearances on top comedy shows including Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Would I Lie To You?, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo and The Bubble.
