James: The Night Before The Morning After Tour

James have announced they will play the SECC on the 17th December as part of their ‘The Night Before The Morning After Tour’.

Formed in Manchester in 1982, James have overcome line-up changes and break-ups to return bigger and better than ever!

Led by singer Tim Booth, James were originally signed to Factory Records through whom they released a 3 track EP, their debut, which was named single of the week by major music papers.  This release, ‘Jimone EP’, led to James being hailed as the next big thing and a tour supporting The Smiths.

Since then, they have had 6 UK top 10 albums including ‘Gold Mother’ and ‘Laid’ which respectively contained James’ most recognisable hits, ‘Sit Down’ and ‘Laid’.

After half a decade apart and inactive (as James) they got back together in 2007 and are once again touring the UK, and coming to Glasgow this December!
