Alter Bridge, Shinedown & Halestorm

Alter Bridge will be returning to Glasgow as part of a six-date UK arena tour in October 2013 along with fellow rockers Shinedown & Halestorm. This will be ALter Bridge’s biggest ever gig in Scotland, which will be at the new Glasgow Hydro arena and will be their one and only Scottish date.

The upcoming tour will be Alter Bridge’s first time back in the UK since November 2011. Since then guitarist Mark Tremonti has released his debut solo record All I Was, Myles Kennedy returned to playing with Slash fronting Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators and Scott Phillips teamed up with friends in Sevendust to form Projected.

Currently, the band comprised of Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips are at work recording their upcoming album on Roadrunner Records slated for release some time in September.

Shinedown, sold out the O2 academy in Glasgow just last year and they will be the main support act to Alter Bridge. Shinedown released the band’s fourth studio album, Amaryllis in the spring of 2012.

Rounding out the bill are recent Grammy Award winners, Halestorm.
