Scotland’s biggest band, Wet Wet Wet have announced their return to Glasgow in Spring 2016 as part of their brand new The Big Picture Tour, with one night in Glasgow’s Hydro Arena.

After the Wet’s incredibly successful (and completely sold out) Greatest Hits gig a few years ago in the Hydro, the hometown concert by the band will take place on the 12th of March 2016 at Glasgow’s Hydro Arena.

Bursting onto the scene in 1987, Wet Wet Wet are now set to tour the UK in December 2013. Starting the tour in Dublin, 02 on Thursday 5th December and ending in their hometown of Glasgow at the Hydro Arena on Thursday 19th December.

With an incredible back catalogue of songs including three UK No. 1’s – ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ (1988); ‘Goodnight Girl’ (1991); and ‘Love Is All Around’ (1994), the Glasgow lads have made an incredible impact with their music over the years and are ready to hit the road and tour again.

The band, Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Marti Pellow have sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date, featured in the UK official singles and album charts for an immense 508 weeks, they have played to more than four million people in over 25 countries around the world.

They set a record by playing ten sold out shows at Glasgow’s SECC in 1995, when they were officially the most popular live act in the UK – out-selling the Rolling Stones who were also on tour that year.

2012 saw Wet Wet Wet return to Glasgow Green for a sold out spectacular 25th anniversary concert dubbed ‘Back In The Park’ where once again the band demonstrated exactly why their long standing reputation is rightfully still flying high with the best of them!

This is definitely going to be a big seller, so make sure you get your tickets before it’s too late!
