US rhythm and blues band Vintage Trouble have announced one night at The Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on the 25th of June 2016 as part of the Glasgow Jazz Festival.

The Californian outfit released their third album ‘1 Hopeful Rd’ in August 2015. The album charted at No 14 in the UK in the first week. The band followed this incredible result with their new single, ‘My Heart Won’t Fall Again’, released in October 2015.

Vintage Trouble, comprising Ty Taylor (vocals), Nalle Colt (guitar), Richard Danielson (drums) and Rick Barrio Dill (bass), play live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth’d, pelvis-pushing juke music. Or, as Yahoo! Music put it, “imagine James Brown singing lead for Led Zeppelin and you’ll get an idea of Vintage Trouble’s muscular, in the pocket sound.”

Following the release of their debut album ‘The Bomb Shelter Sessions’, the band was soon selling out headline shows worldwide, opening for The Rolling Stones and touring with The Who, and performing on shows like Later… with Jools Holland, Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan and Jimmy Kimmel Live – all before Vintage Trouble had even signed to a major label.

After touring with AC/DC worldwide in 2015, performing for over two million people during the run, Vintage Trouble are flying high! They also played a whole host of high-profile festivals this summer including Glastonbury!

This summer they have a whole host of festivals lined up including this gig as part of the Glasgow Jazz Festival, Pinkpop Festival in Holland, Bergenfest in Norway, Scala in Germany, the Seoul Jazz Festival, Moonstone, Bluesfest Sydney, Lollapalooza Chile, Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Brazil!

Tickets are now on sale for Vintage Trouble’s gig at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on the 25th of June. Make sure you don’t miss out!
