Always wanted to take up a creative craft but never known where to start?  Visit Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts at the SECC Glasgow from the 8-11 March and make 2012 the year you learn a new craft and embrace ‘handmade and personalised’.

The new quilting element to the show has been inspired by an outstanding collection of pieces from Quilters groups and guilds across England and Scotland. The Quilters’ Guild Contemporary Quilt Group will proudly display a collection of work by its members titled Fractured Images.

Fashion fanatics will have the chance to get up close to the flamboyant collection of costumes from the popular retail inspired drama, Mr Selfridge. Gorgeous dresses, hats and fur lined coats worn by Rose, Lady Mae and Agnes together with the signature outfit worn start of the show Jeremy Piven (Mr Selfridge) will be on show over the three days and are not to be missed.

Hobbycraft lovers can enjoy a variety of demonstrations and workshops on offer including the lively on-stand demos. Exhibitors will be presenting new ideas, methods, the latest papercrafting and cardmaking supplies to make stylish, personalised crafts.

With everything from quilting, sewing and knitting to papercraft, cardmaking and jewellery making, visitors will find all the latest innovations from the world of creative craft.
