Australia’s first international supergroup, The Seekers will be heading to Glasgow in May 2014 to perform two nights in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

The Seekers achieved huge success in the 1960’s with hits like Georgy Girl, The Carnival Is Over and I’ll Never Find Another You, firmly putting Australia on the international pop music map with their unique pop sound, singing four-part harmonies with acoustic guitars and double bass.

They achieved may accolades including being names “Australians Of The Year” in 1967 and being inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame as well as still holding the record for the biggest concert crowd in the southern hemisphere (200,000) in March 1967.

The Seekers first performed together in Melbourne in 1962. They became Australia’s first international supergroup, topping charts around the world.

This will likely be The Seekers last tour of the UK, so don’t miss you chance to see them live. They are also one of the only surviving chart-topping acts from the 1960s to retain all of their original members. They toured their native Australia last year to mark their 50th anniversary and you will no have the chance to hear such classic hits as A World of Our Own, Morningtown Ride, Georgy Girl and Someday, One Day.
