Shang-a-Lang is the unmissable, feel good play from Catherine Johnson, the writer of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia! It comes to the King’s Theatre Glasgow for 5 nights in November 2013.
Three forty-something Scottish women decide to relive their youth by going to a 70s revival weekend in Butlins, where the Bay City Rollers are playing. Our three girls were Rollerettes back in the day but can you ever recapture your youth, and if you could, would you really want to?

Shang-a-Lang is presented by Rapture, they having been producing top quality touring theatre in Scotland for over 10 years and regularly attracts the best performers and artists.
Their productions range from the wit and comedy of Neil Simon’s “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” and the dark humour of Pinter’s “Betrayal” to the powerful relevance of “Frozen” and “Blue/Orange”. Raptures shows frequently sell out and their recent projects included a British tour of modern Scottish hit “Gagarin Way” and a contemporary production of “Hamlet” set in Glasgow.
