Motörhead have announced a series of UK gigs for January 2016, including one night in Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium.

Motörhead have lined up a handful of UK shows at the beginning of 2016, including one gig in Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on the 24th of January 2015.

The rock ‘n’ roll heavyweights, who celebrate their 40th anniversary this year, will be joined by Saxon and Girlschool as support for the whole tour.

In January 2016 they will play shows at Newcastle City Hall, the O2 Apollo in Manchester, Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre, the Eventim Apollo in London, and Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on January 24th.

Motörhead will be releasing their 22nd studio album, Bad Magic, on 28 August. Bad Magic is the band’s 22nd studio album and contains a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy For The Devil” while Queen’s Brian May guests on “The Devil”.

The band will also undertake a North American tour with Anthrax beginning in August, which ends with the Motörboat cruise between Sept 28 – Oct 2 from Miami, Florida to Nassau.

Motörhead will then embark on a 40th Anniversary European Winter Tour, which starts on November 15, 2015 at Le Zenith in Paris, ending on December 6 at the Hartwell Arena in Helsinki, Finland.

Finally they’ll head to the UK for just 5 dates, and the only 1 in Scotland will be in the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow on January 24th 2016.
