Manic Street Preachers will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of ‘Everything Must Go’ with a huge gig in the Glasgow SSE Hydro Arena on the 21st of May 2016!

Manic Street Preachers have announced that they’ll be celebrating the songs and lyrics of their classic album ‘Everything Must Go’ with a full UK tour, and will play one night in Glasgow’s Hydro Arena on May 21st 2016, with support from Editors.

The band had previously announced a show to mark the 20th anniversary of the iconic 1996 album with a massive gig at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium. Now, they’ll also be playing shows all around the UK including Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Leeds and Glasgow. Support at all these new shows comes from Editors.

Everything Must Go was the band’s first after the disappearance of cornerstone, guitarist and lyricist Richey Edwards – who went missing in 1995. His vanishing followed the release of their dark and seminal 1994 LP The Holy Bible, which the band celebrated with an anniversary tour last year – culminating in a huge show at Cardiff Castle.

Then, Everything Must Go marked their first major commercial breakthrough, containing timeless hits ‘A Design For Life’, ‘Kevin Carter’ and ‘Australia’ – winning them countless awards and establishing them as one of the biggest UK acts of the 90s.

Make sure you don’t miss out on one of the biggest gigs of the year. Get your tickets to see Manic Street Preachers in the Glasgow SSE Hydro on May 21 soon!
