Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have announced their first European tour in nearly two years and have included one night in Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena in April 2016!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have announced their first European tour in nearly two years, playing their biggest shows on the continent to date including a night at The SSE Hydro on the 13th of April 2016.

The 31-date tour follows an intimate run of historic US theatres in January and February.

The duo are partnering with Plus 1 so that £1 from every ticket purchased on their tour will go to support Partners in Health, Equal Justice Initiative, Youth Speaks and the 30/30 Project. They are committed to using their platform and resources to advance issues of equity and justice and are partnering with organizations dedicated to these same values.

“Downtown” is the first single from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s follow up to their multiple GRAMMY Award winning, platinum selling debut album ‘The Heist.’ Album cut, “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)” featuring Ed Sheeran was released in August. The song was written before the birth of Macklemore’s first child and is dedicated to his daughter Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty. Stay tuned for more details on the forthcoming album.
