Multi-award winning comedian John Bishop will be performing his brand new tour, Supersonic, for two nights in Glasgow in November 2014.
John Bishop, star of Sky 1’s ‘A League of Their Own’ and BBC 1’s ‘John Bishop’s Britain’ is coming to Glasgow’s newest venue, the Hydro for two nights in november 2014.
John Bishop performed stand-up comedy for the first time in October 2000, and the following year made it to the final of all the major new act competitions, including So You Think You’re Funny, the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards, the BBC New Comedy Awards and the City Life North West Comedian of The Year Award, which he won.
Since then, the multi-award winning comedian has starred in ‘Live At The Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow’, ‘Skins’, ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’. In 2012 John performed to 500,000 people in his sell-out ROLLERCOASTER tour. With its massive helter skelter set and surprise finale the DVD of that show went on to top the charts.
After taking eighteen months off to write his autobiography John is limbering up for his next arena mission, and will be zooming into Glasgow in the autumn of 2014.
