After 25 years of TV comedy, Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse are bringing their first ever live tour together to Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium in autumn 2015!

Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse have announced details of a UK tour. A host of the comedy duo’s famous characters will take to the stage at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on the 3rd of November 2015, in their brand new ‘Legends!’ show.

The duo mark 25 years as a comedy partnership for their Legends! tour, which will take in 17 shows across the UK in the autumn.

Starting in Plymouth on the 24th of October, the tour will also head all around the UK including one night in Glasgow’s Armadillo. The tour will end at London’s Eventim Apollo on the 15th of November.

The pair have worked together since the late eighties and are responsible for some of the most famous and much-loved comedy characters and most memorable catchphrases. They include Loadsamoney, the Old Gits, Smashie and Nicey, Kevin the Teenager, Tim Nice-But-Dim, Wayne and Waynetta Slob and The Scousers.

Harry Enfield and Chums, originally shown on BBC Two in 1990, quickly became one of the UK’s most popular alternative comedy shows. Most recently the pair collaborated on the BBC One sketch show Harry and Paul which ran for four series.

The tour follows the announcement of a TV special marking their quarter of a century of satire, in which the pair will caricature real-life personalities such as the late prime minister Margaret Thatcher and actor Mark Rylance.

Despite working together for 25 years, this is the first time they will have been on tour together, and they are promising quarter of a century of classic comedy characters and old favourites.

Audiences can expect to see their favourite characters, and perhaps even find out what’s happened to Kevin? Has Loadsamoney still got the dosh? Does Smashie still do a lot of good work for charity and love all the Lidl people? Does Nicey still have his knighthood?

Tickets will go on sale next Monday (April 20) at 9am.
