Enjoy a fantastic weekend of sevens rugby, music, entertainment and fun, all with a circus fancy dress theme when the Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s returns to Scotstoun Stadium in May 2014.

Over the weekend, you can look forward to seeing lots games of rugby being played. Matches last seven minutes each way with just a one-minute break for half time. Scotland survived last season to secure core status in the HSBC Sevens World Series for another year and will join New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, USA, England, Wales and many other huge names in sevens rugby.

Scotland have been playing in the World Series since it began and now have a full-time squad of sevens specialists playing in the tournaments across the world.  They have already won the Bowl competition in Dubai and will be aiming to arrive in Glasgow with a few more wins under their belt.

Scotstoun Stadium is great venue for ‘clowning around’ at a family-friendly event like this and the Glasgow 7s really does have something for everyone, including plenty of space for the kids to let off some steam between matches.

Party stand – for the party animals among you, the ever-popular Party Stand will bring a mix of great music and on-the-spot entertainment, led by the ‘Ringmaster’ Grant Stott. Bring your most creative circus-themed fancy dress and you could win some exciting prizes.
