Coca-Cola Christmas Truck
27th November 2013
Location: Braehead Shopping Centre
Tickets: free event, no ticket required
The famous Coca-Cola Christmas truck is on its way to Glasgow. Get along to the Braehead shopping centre on the 27th November to have your photo taken with the truck and enjoy the festive magic.
Christmas will soon be here and to celebrate the start of the festive season Coca-Cola are sending their iconic Christmas truck on tour around the UK. The truck is the star of the legendary ‘Holidays are coming’ advert and will make 52 stops along the way, with 5 in Scotland. It will be appearing at the Braehead Shopping Centre on 27th November 2013 between 1pm & 9pm.
The Coca-Cola team will be surprising consumers with a selection of festive treats. A part of Braehead will be transformed into a snowy winter wonderland, with a choir singing carols and Christmas elves will be serving chilled Coke and Diet Coke to the sound of seasonal music.
Braehead isn’t Glasgow! 😉
Whilst Braehead is now legally a Renfrewshire council area, it’s still in Glasgow, it’s address is Kings Inch Road, Glasgow, G51 4BN, United Kingdom. The Council boundary lines do not dictate the actual city boundary.
Interestingly the site of Braehead originally divided the council boundary between Glasgow and Renfrew councils, it needed a Boundary Commission ruling eventually to redraw the council boundary to include all of the centre in Renfrewshire.
What was that Ruth? Haha
