Bryan Adams has confirmed an extended run of UK 2022 dates in arenas around the country, kicking off in May 2022. The Canadian singer songwriter’s new dates follow on from his previously announced UK shows for next year
Adams solo career was launched with the release of his self-titled debut album in February of 1980. However, it wasn’t until 1983 that his career took off, with the release of his 3rd album “Cuts Like A Knife” which featured the singles “Straight from the Heart” and “This Time”, both of which reached the top 15 of the Billboard Hot 100.
In the UK, Bryan Adams subsequent album “Reckless” (which was released on his 25th birthday) was his most popular from the 80’s, reaching number 7 in the UK album charts and going 2x platinum. “Reckless” comprises some of his most well known songs including “Run to You”, “Heaven” and “Summer of ’69” (all of which had far greater success in the US singles charts).
Since then, his albums have almost all charted within the top 10 and Adams is well and truly in the rock hall of fame!
Adam’s 13th album, Get Up, is set for release later this month. The album was produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne and co-written with Adams’ long-time collaborator Jim Vallance.
He has now revealed that he will be touring the UK in April and May 2016, with shows in Nottingham, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Manchester, London and of course, Glasgow.
Expect a great night at this gig, with crowd favourites such as (Everything I Do) I Do It For You and Summer Of ‘69 amongst a ton of other huge hits.
