Featuring the original line-up of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler and produced by the multi-Grammy winning Rick Rubin, ’13’ is the band’s first studio album since 1978’s ‘Never Say Die’. The band were joined at the recording sessions by drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine).

Black Sabbath were formed in Birmingham in 1969 by guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. Throughout the years the line-up has changed, including Osbourne being kicked out for heavy drug use. Tony Iommi has through the years been the only constant presence.

Sabbath are pioneers of heavy metal and helped define the genre with releases such as quadruple-platinum Paranoid. They have sold over over 70 million records worldwide and were ranked by MTV as the “Greatest Metal Band” of all time. They placed second in VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock” list, behind Led Zeppelin.

Black Sabbath were inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and just to round it off Rolling Stone magazine ranked them among the 100 greatest artists of all time.

Don’t miss out on your chance to see Black Sabbath in Glasgow.
