Billy Bragg has announced one date this December in the Glasgow O2 ABC as part of his 2015 winter tour.

Folk legend Billy Bragg is heading out on tour for a run of dates around the UK this winter, and has announced one night in Glasgow’s O2 ABC on the 3rd of December 2015.

Born in Essex, Billy Bragg is well known as an alternative rock musician who blends elements of folk music, punk rock and protest songs.

Bragg started his career in the punk rock/pub rock band Riff Raff, touring London’s pubs and clubs.  They didn’t receive much exposure and he changed career paths by joining the British Army. After a little spate in the armed forces, Bragg turned his attention back to music and began constantly performing concerts and busking around London, playing solo with an electric guitar.

His first album, Life’s a Riot, was released in 1983 and Bragg has been busy ever since!  He has now has 6 top 20 UK albums, and several UK top 20 singles and massive success as a live act.
