Whistler: The Gentle Art of Making Etchings

Through this exhibition, you can explore the works of James McNeill Whistler; master of etching.

The exhibition is drawn entirely from Glasgow University’s world-famous art collection.  Although Whistler’s full output is richly represented, the exhibition is not only comprised of art.  It also presents some of the artist’s working tools, copper plates and rare archival material.

The Whistler exhibition is present within the Hunterian Art Gallery, Glasgow University until the 30th May 2009.
