Rock legends U2 are playing in Scotland for one night only, in Glasgow’s Hampden Park.
Formed in the post-punk landscape of the late 70s, Irish rockers U2 now occupy an undeniable place as one of the biggest bands in the world today, and have been for many years.
Singer Bono’s distinctive vocals and guitarist The Edge’s classic sound have led to enormous hits such as With or Without You, Elevation, Sunday Bloody Sunday and The Sweetest Thing. U2 have sold more than 145 million albums worldwide and have won 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other band.
U2’s 360 tour is in support of their most recent album, ‘No Line on the Horizon’, released in February 2009. This album features the singles ‘Get on your Boots’ and ‘Magnificent’, which you are certain to hear at the gig.
Having played to packed auditoriums for many years, the band has honed their live show, which is an experience not to be missed. Because of this, U2 concerts are consistently extremely popular with their tickets being highly sought after. Book yours now or you will be missing out!
