British rapper Tinie Tempah will be returning to Glasgow in December 2013 bringing his tour to the new SSE Hydro arena.

The South London born rapper has established himself as one of the  UK’s most innovative and authentic artists.

Tinie released his debut single, ‘Pass Out’, in February 2010, which entered the UK singles charts at no. 1 and stayed there for 2 consecutive weeks.  After a performance at Glastonbury in June the same year, Tinie Tempah released his second single, ‘Frisky’, which entered the UK singles charts at no. 2.

After a summer of festivals and various other gigs including supporting Rihanna in London and Glasgow on her UK tour, Tinie released his third single, ‘Written in the Stars’, in September 2010.  This again charted at no. 1 in the UK singles charts, selling over 115,000 copies in its first week, making it his biggest-selling single to date.  The song also went on to chart in a number of other countries including Ireland, Sweden, New Zealand and the USA.

For his fourth single, Tinie teamed up with Swedish House Mafia for the song, ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, which was quickly followed by the release of his first album, ‘Disc-Overy’.  Disc-Overy featured all of his previously charted singles and a few that were yet to be released including ‘Invincible’ ft. Rihanna, and ‘Wonderman’ ft. Ellie Goulding.

Tinie Tempah’s second album Demonstration will be released by Parlophone on November 4th 2013. Like his multi-platinum selling debut Disc-Overy, Tinie has once again delivered an innovative, bold, surprising, pioneering piece of work, inhabited by a sense of musical adventure and an eclectic array of collaborators.
