Outdoor events and things to do

Pollock Country Park: Easter Dray Rides with the Clydesdale Horses at the Old Stable Courtyard. These are on from Monday the 7th April to Friday the 18th April daily from 1pm-3pm.

Tollcross Park: Visit the animals at Tollcross Childrens Farm. The farm is located within the courtyard complex in Tollcross Park and is home to many species of farm animal such as sheep, horses, ponies, pigs, goats and rabbits plus many others like llama and peacocks. There is also a visitor and environment centre where you can discover the fascinating world of animals and insects, to seeing the story of Cock Robin in 3D. The farm is open every day from 10am – 3.30pm except on Fridays when it closes at 3pm.

Mugdock Country Park: Can You Tell Your Ash From Your Elder? Join the Ranger Service in Mugdock Country Park to find out how to identify trees. This event is on Sunday the 6th of April at 2pm. Visit the website for more information.

Mugdock Country Park: Growing your own Fruit. You can get some ideas on how to grow your own fruit with the Ranger Service. This event is on Saturday the 5th of April at 10am. Visit the website for more information.

Indoor events and things to do

Glasgow Science Centre: The Big Bang – Our Mysterious Universe. This new exhibition sheds light on some of the mysteries of the universe… How old it is, how big it is, why particles have mass and what the unknown 95% of our universe is made of. This is on every day during the holidays at the Glasgow Science Centre and is open from 10am-6pm every day.

SNO!zone at Xscape, Braehead: Skiing, snowboarding and more for kids aged 11-15 during the Easter holidays. Rookie and pro classes are available, full-day or half-day. To book either call 0871 200 3222 or visit the website. Open from 8am daily.
