The Wanted have announced a massive gig in the SSE Hydro arena, bringing their the Word Of Mouth World Tour to Glasgow in March 2014.

After previous sell out gigs in the Clyde Auditorium, Hamilton Park Racecourse and the Glasgow SECC, British-Irish boyband pop sensation have announced that they are coming back to Glasgow, this time performing their biggest gig to date in Glasgow’s at the Hydro.

No stranger to massive live shows, The Wanted have already performed on some of
the world’s most iconic stages, including London’s Wembley Stadium and O2 Arena,
not to mention New York’s Madison Square Garden and the White House!

The group is made up of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes.  The band’s debut single ‘All Time Low’ reached no. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in August 2010.

The band started working on their second studio album in January 2011, working with the likes of Steve Mac. The lead single from the album, ‘Gold Forever’, was released in March in aid of Comic Relief, peaking at no. 3 in the UK singles chart.  In July 2011 their second single ‘Glad You Came’ reached no. 1 in the UK singles charts.
