The Tour of Britain, 2008

On Saturday the 13th of September, the 2008 Tour of Britain, Britain’s leading professional cycle race, will leave from Glasgow, before the final stage of the tour in Liverpool on Sunday the 14th.

Cyclists will leave from Glasgow Green at 10.15am, and will cycle 153km south to Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries and Galloway, taking in the sights of Strathaven, Crawfordjohn Mennock Pass and Elvanfoot on the way.

The highlights of this 8 day race are shown on ITV every night from 8-9pm.
