The Overtones will return to Glasgow for one night in December 2015 bringing their Christmas album live to the stage at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

The Overtones are heading out to spread some Christmas cheer around the UK this winter, and have announced one night in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on the 9th of December 2015 as part of their Christmas tour!

The Overtones celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Christmas’, a collection of festive family favourites that will be released on November 27th.

The boys have compiled a stocking rammed with Christmas crackers in the shape of good ol’ classics such as ‘White Christmas’, ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ and ‘Let It Snow’. The album – produced by their regular collaborators Graham Archer and Julian Hinton – also adds to the seasonal traditions with two brand new Christmas songs in the shape of ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Christmas’ and ‘This Christmas Time’.

Formed in 2010, The Overtones are a 5-piece British & Irish doo-wop boyband. They were discovered by a Warner Brothers talent scout whilst working as decorators in a shop near Oxford St in London when they were singing during their tea break.

Since then, they have signed a multi-album deal with Warner Brothers Records.  Their debut album, ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Love’, entered the UK Album Chart at no. 16 in November of 2010.  However, it was re-released in March 2011, when it charted at no. 4. The album features a number of original tracks written by the band, including their first single “Gambling Man” as well as the title track “Good Ol Fashioned Love” and “Carolyn”.

Their new album, ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Christmas’, will be released on November 27th this year.

Their live performances are electric, so make sure you don’t miss your chance to see The Overtones live in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall! Especially at the most wonderful time of year…
