The original Kiltwalk event returns to Glasgow with with Clyde 2 and the Greatest Hits Network. 5,200 people took part in 2015, and this year they are looking to build on the £750,000 raised for Scotland’s children.

Due to the popularity of this event in the past few years, in 2016 they are raising the cap to 10,000 participants. Sign up asap and make sure that you don’t miss out!

There are three walks you can take part in.

  1. The Full Kilt Walk (26 miles) – Starts at Hampden Park, with pit stops every 4/5 miles all the way to Loch Lomond, supported all the way with fun, banter and lots and lots of pipes!
  2. The Half Kilt Walk (13 miles) –  Still a massive achievement for most, the Half Kilt sets off from the PlayDrome at Clydebank with the same fanfare as the 26 mile walk – a host of bagpipes and your hosts Clyde 2.
  3. The Wee Walk (6 miles)  – This is perfect for those not yet ready for the longer walks (you can do 13 miles in 2017!), and is also perfect for families.

As always we’ll have pipers, pit stops provided by our charity partners and live music throughout the afternoon and evening. So join us for a great day and do your bit for Scotland’s children.
