Scotland’s biggest weekend musical festival T in the Park is 21 years old and is back in 2014 as big as ever with headlines acts Biffy Clyro & Arctic Monkeys.

With 9 stages, showcasing some of the worlds best talent, the 2014 T in the Park looks like it’s going to be a great one! Headline acts Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, Elbow, Paolo Nutini and Pharrell Williams have already been announced.

The line-up also includes Jake Bugg, Pixies, Ellie Goulding, James, Paul Weller, Example, Tinie Tempah & Manic Street Preachers. With many more acts still to be announced you will have plenty to choose from throughout the weekend, you will definitely find something you’ll like!

Getting there

T in the Park takes place in Balado, Kinross-shire. As a result, there are only so many ways you can get there.

By bus: Travelling by bus is the faster, easiest and most environmentally friendly way to get to the T in the Park festival.  Buses leave from Glasgow’s Buchanan Street Bus Station very regularly.  Tickets for the bus can be purchased in advance along with your festival ticket (see below).  Alternatively, tickets for the bus can be purchased from the Citylink website.  They don’t seem to have updated their site to include the 2009 T in the Park just yet, but we will keep checking and let you know when they do.

By car:  We wouldn’t advise travelling by car as it will be EXTREMELY busy, particularly on the weekend. If you simply ‘must’ take the car, then please car-share where possible. Car park tickets are on sale in advance again this year and the deadline for these are the 28th June so don’t leave it until the last minute!

  • Only use the designated drop off points.
  • Since the traffic system changes each year, following the event signs would be advisable…
  • Allow extra time for your journey, as it will be busy!
  • Respect local residents – only use the designated toilet stops.
  • Keep your ticket safe.  Everyone in the car must have ticket.
