Sony make.believe

You may already know about ’make.believe’; It's the message that symbolises the spirit of Sony and stands for the power of its creativity, its ability to turn ideas into reality and the belief that anything that can be imagined.

In one recent example of this, Sony challenged a group of media students in London to create their own version of the Priest trailer. A short video has been produced to tell the story of the students, who were given a once in a lifetime opportunity with Sony!

The Korean graphic novel ‘Priest’ has been brought to life by emerging director Scott Stewart supported by a stellar production team which includes Sam Raimi. The film follows a Warrior Priest who returns from hiding to rescue his abducted niece from a group of ancient vampires who are intent on turning her into one of them! Paul Bettany stars as the Warrior Priest, Lily Collins plays his niece and their co-stars include Cam Gigandet and Maggie Q.

SonyYou can watch all three finalists trailers including the winning one. Although I did enjoy the second half of Josh's attempt, I though the first half of his trailer was the weakest part of any of the trailers, so for that I don't think it should have won. I preferred Moritz's attempt and though this should have won. What do you think?

The Priest film features two types of characters the 'priests' and the vampires, both with distinct physical appearances. Sony have designed a Facebook application that allows you to choose a photo of yourself or others and apply the facial appearances of the films characters. So why not priest yourself and if you do, you'll even have a chance of winning a Sony 3D BRAVIA TV & Blu-Ray Disc™ player!
