Legendary rock band Rush have just announced their 2013 UK Arena Tour, which will include one night in Glasgow’s SECC!

The Canadian prog-rock band returns to the UK in May 2013 with their new album Clockwork Angels – their first album in five years, and single, “Headlong Flight” which is due for release on 11th June 2012.

Their new album has been produced by Grammy award winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones) who also worked with Rush on their 2007 album, Snakes and Arrows. Their single “Headlong Flight” has already been A-Listed on the UK’s Planet Rock radio.

With more than 40 million records sold worldwide and countless sold-out tours, Rush – Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart – is not only one of the most inventive and compelling groups in rock history, but remains one of the most popular.

These are the first UK dates since the band brought their 3 ½ hour Time Machine Tour in May 2011 which was met with widespread critical acclaim and  included a sold out date at London’s  O2 Arena.  Fans will be eager to get tickets to see Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart play hits from their new album, plus a few older hits for their huge fan-base.
