Rod Stewart is heading back to Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on December 13th 2016 as part of his brand new tour “From Gasoline Alley to Another Country: Hits 2016”.

Rod Stewart has announced the ‘From Gasoline Alley to Another Country Hits 2016’ arena tour that is set to delight fans up and down the UK as he takes to the stage from 12 November – 13 December 2016, bringing with him his biggest hits from 1970 to 2016!

Demand for Rod Stewart’s spectacular live shows are as strong as ever following the recent release of musical legend’s 29th critically acclaimed platinum selling album ‘Another Country’, which shot straight to #2 in October 2015.

With no shortage of chart-topping tracks, the ‘From Gasoline Alley to Another Country Hits 2016’ tour will captivate fans, truly living up to its name with performances of show stopping classics spanning five decades including: You Wear It Well, Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Baby Jane, The First Cut is the Deepest, I Don’t Want To Talk About It, Tonight’s The Nigh, The Killing of Georgie and Sailing. Not only that, he will play his hits off his most recent platinum-selling albums ‘Time’ and ‘Another Country’.

From profile raising stints in The Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, Rod Stewart struck out on his own in 1969 with his debut: An Old Raincoat Will Never Let You Down, although it wasn’t until 1971 when Rod really shot to stardom with his platinum selling album, Every Every Picture Tells A Story.  Over 30 years later with a string of hits behind him, the appeal of a Rod Stewart tour has not waned in the slightest…

At a Rod Stewart show, you will see Rod perform classics like ‘Maggie May’, ‘This Old Heart Of Mine’, ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’, ‘Some Guys Have All the Luck’, ‘I Don’t Want’ to ‘Talk About It’, ‘Forever Young’, ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’ and of course, ‘Sailing’ to name but a small selection of the hits that Rod Stewart has in his back catalogue.

Rod Stewart tickets will sell out quickly as long-standing fans and newcomers alike flock to see this genuine rock & roll legend.  Expect much singing along to a ton of hits (even if you’re not a huge fan we’d bet that you’d still recognise every one of them!) when Rod Stewart comes to town.

Rod Stewart tickets always sell very quickly so make sure you get your tickets soon if you want to see him live in Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on the 13th of December 2016!

  1. I was never really a fan of Rod Stewart when I was younger, but now that I’m maturing 🙂 I really enjoy his music!
