Prince is coming to Glasgow! It’s been 19 years since we last seen the purple one in Glasgow and once again we get to see him live. He plays the SSE Hydro on Thursday 22nd May 2014.

Tickets go on general sale at 12pm on Friday 2nd May and if your lucky enough to be an SSE reward customer, the pre-sale begins at 9am on the same day. These spontaneous gig dates have just been announced and will take place in a matter of weeks.

Earlier this year Prince made a number of spontaneous and intimate UK shows and this will be his first regional UK arena dates since 1995. Glasgow is just 1 of 4 lucky UK cities, the others being Birmingham, Manchester & Leeds.

These exclusive arena shows with 3RDEYEGIRLare his first since his sold out residency at The O2 London in 2007. This will be the first time Prince has ever performed in Leeds and is also the first time Prince has headlined a show in Birmingham and Glasgow in 19 years.

Prince is one the best-selling artists of all time, with over 100 million records sold worldwide. He is renowned for his wide vocal range and flamboyant stage presence. He’s part of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, won seven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.
