American alternative rock act OneRepublic return to the O2 Academy in Glasgow in March 2014 for one night, and will be their only Scottish gig this time around.

OneRepublic rose to fame in 2007 with the release of their number one smash hit “Apologize”, after garnishing huge support through MySpace. Applogize went on to be the most legally downloaded single in U.S. history and set records for the largest amount of radio airplay.

Formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, the pop rockers trademark mix of dreamy falsetto and distinctive piano riffs can also be heard on their top ten hits “Stop and Stare” and “Say (All I Need).”

The band’s second album, “Waking Up” was released in 2009, though failed to reach the sales of their debut album. After a 3 and a half year hiatus, OneRepublic released their third studio album, Native, in March 2013 to once again a huge success. Their single Counting Stars becoming one of the biggest hits of the year.
