Hold onto your tats McBusted fans, but the band have announced their return to Glasgow’s Hydro Arena in spring 2015!

With the excitement of 2014’s most incredible, jaw-dropping arena tour still ringing in fans’ ears nationwide, and almost exactly one year on from their formation, McBusted announce their return to The SSE Hydro in spring 2015.

The band was formed in November 2013 when former Busted members Bourne and Willis joined McFly to form the six-piece supergroup McBusted. They announced their debut eleven date tour for 2014 last November (2013), with the initial shows selling out in just one hour! Due to phenomenal demand from fans and the general public, it swiftly became the UK’s largest arena tour of the year, played to a staggering 350,000 people across an amazing 35 sold out arenas, culminating in a show stopping headline performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people.

They waited a while after their formation to release any material (“they wanted to release f***ing good music”) and have since compiled a 12-track collection named ‘McBusted’. It features tracks from a range of different genres, including ‘Air Guitar’, ‘Hate Your Guts’ and ‘What Happened To Your Band’, which was written by James following the split of Busted in 2005.

The group – consisting of Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd, Matt Willis, James Bourne, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter – revealed they’ll be performing 16 dates across the UK in March and April.

The six-man band will be playing classic tunes from both groups, plus new material from McBusted’s debut album which was released in December 2014.

The tour will kick off in Glasgow and travel around other major cities including Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool, before heading back down to London and Bournemouth, passing through the Midlands.

Make sure you don’t miss out on the tour of the year. Get your tickets now!
