Paul Smith and his Geordie boys are hitting the road once again, kicking off the second leg of their world tour with a gig in Glasgow’s very own Barrowlands this October.
Maximo Park’s 2009 world tour is in support of their most recent album, ‘Quicken The Heart’ which features singles ‘The Kids Are Sick Again’ and ‘Questing, Not Coasting’.
Maximo Park have a whole host of hits to call on, including ‘Apply Some Pressure’ and ‘Graffiti’ from their breakthrough Mercury Prize nominated debut, ‘A Certain Trigger’ ‘Our Velocity’ and ‘Books from Boxes’ from their follow up ‘Our Earthly Pleasures’.
Their third album, ‘Quicken The Heart’ was released earlier this year and debuted at a respectable no. 6 in the UK album charts.
