For the first time in over 30 years, a mighty beanstalk will burst out of Bath Street as Jack and the Beanstalk returns to the King’s.

Fresh from their trip to Old Peking, Elaine C Smith and Johnny Mac will be back, swapping their magic carpet for Dame Trot’s farm to follow Jack and his family and climb a beanstalk of gigantic proportions to Cloudland in another unmissable family show.

Doomed to sell his trusty coo, join Jack as he fights to save the beautiful Princess, outwit the evil giant and win riches beyond his wildest dreams along with the hand of the girl he loves. Expect laughs, music, special effects, magic beans and bundles of audience participation in this GIANT of a pantomime!

In 2018 it was Aladdin starring Elaine C Smith as Widow Twankey alongside Johnny Mac as the lovable eejit Wishee Washee. We followed Aladdin, his brother Wishee Washee, and of course his mother Widow Twankey, on a spectacular adventure. There was flying carpets, a wish-granting genie, an evil sorcerer and a lamp-full of laughs. Paul-James Corrigan, from Gary Tank Commander also stars as  the Imperial Palace Guard in the magical pantomime adventure Aladdin.

In 2017 it was Sleeping Beauty: A panto favourite: Once upon a time in a land far far away, the beautiful Princess Aurora is given a 16th birthday present by her evil godmother Carabosse. Sleeping Beauty is placed under a cruel curse and forced to sleep for 100 years after she pricks her finger on an enchanted spinning wheel.

In 2016 it was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: For only the second time the Kings are delighted to present the fairest pantomime of them all Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Scottish comedy legend Gregor Fisher lead the cast of panto favourites, the Rab C. Nesbitt star adds another string to his vest in the role of Hector the Henchman alongside much-loved panto favourite and Capital FM presenter Des Clarke as Muddles and Juliet Cadzow (Balamory, Panto Pie and a Pint) as the Wicked Queen.

In 2015 it was Peter Pan: Widely hailed as one of the best for many years.

Took my Brownie troop for the second year in a row – we were not disappointed actors were absolutely fabulous story was great costumes were stunning and the dancers were amazing of course our fav wee wishee washie was a star again looking forwards to next year all ready. well done kings crew awesome as always xxx

  4. this was my 2nd time seeing it and funnier the 2nd time , we normally have a girls nite at the pavillion theatre but this is no comparrison anymore and the kings wins hands down, karen dunbar ur a legend and i got my hair washed….. bonus brilliant

  6. What was 9… i was in the audience and have ‎12 gallons of water, 11 lion scarves, 10 tartan teddies, 9 something something, 8 sausage suppers, 7 bubi buttons, 6 smelly socks, 5 toilet rolls, 4 Forford Browns?, 3 Irn Brus, 2 footbaw shirts and a fairy for the tap o the tree

    1. 12 gallons of water, 11 lions rampant, 10 tartan teddies, 9……….
      8 sausage suppers, 7 …….
      6 smelly socks, 5 toilet rolls, 4 forfur bridies, 3 irn bru’s, 2 football shirts and a fairy for the top our tree

  7. my 7yr old daughter and i go every year with our sunday school, it was the first one for my 4yr old and my partner witch we all enjoyed very very much!!! there was one person that was missed and that was gerard kelly but bobby the bar man done him proud!!!!! WELL DONE FOLK, ANOTHER GREAT SHOW!!!!!!xx

  8. i was in aladdin and i met everyone they were so nice and by the way its 11 lion scarfs.iwent to see it on the last night when i wasnt on because i finished the day before.i miss everyone so much.i love keith jack 😀

  9. Brilliant! Even my 1.5 yr old grandaughter was dancing at the end. The 4 and 5 yr olds thought it was fantastic. Lots in it for the whole family.
    Everyone in it was excellent but Karen Dunbar and Gerard Kelly were outstanding.

  11. Took the family to see this on Wed night, tremendous setup and hilarious script. Well done Guys….Can anyone help me here though as the kids and I can’t remember what 11 was in the 12 days of xmas song!!!! 10 was tartan teddies and 12 was gallons of water..

  12. I can’t wait too see it !!! i am going with my school i went to see cinderella last year and it was fan daby dozey !!!!! can’t wait ti gi see aladdin 😀 !!!!!!!!!!

  13. An absolute hoot! Lots of fun for all the family with great songs and amazing costumes – karen Dunbar is a fantastic Dame!
