Welsh popera star, Katherine Jenkins, to play Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium in December 2016.
The 31 year old from Neath, Wales is heading out on another UK tour after the release her latest album, Daydream.
Recorded in London and Los Angeles, Daydream captures the ever-evolving range of Katherine’s remarkable voice on songs from all ends of the musical spectrum – classical, choral, traditional, musical theatre and pop.
Daydream also features two Welsh hymns, Blaenwern and Hyfrodol, that the one-time Welsh Choirgirl of the Year first sang as a seven-year-old child in her church in Neath, backed here by the Crouch End Festival Chorus.
And the new album also features two traditional Scottish and Irish folk songs, plus a favourite from Les Misarables, sung in it’s original French.
Performing across a spectrum of operatic arias, popular songs, musical theatre and hymns, this is one show not to miss in the New Year.
Tickets are now on sale, so make sure you don’t miss out!
