Jessie J has announced details of a UK tour in early 2015, with one gig in Glasgow’s O2 Academy in January.

The ‘Bang Bang’ singer will play six shows across the country in January, starting at Glasgow’s O2 Academy.

Jessie J came into the spotlight with her first single ‘Do It Like a Dude’ which peaked at no. 2 in the UK singles charts in 2010. In early 2011 she topped the charts in 19 countries including the UK, France, Ireland, and New Zealand with the song “Price Tag”, and then released her debut album, Who You Are (2011) which charted at number two in the UK. It was later in 2011 that she achieved chart success in the US with the single ‘Domino’, peaking at no. 6 in the Billboard Hot 100. As of April 2012, Jessie had sold over 11 million singles and 2.5 million albums worldwide, not bad for a career of less than 2 years at the time!

Recognised for an unconventional musical and performance style, Jessie J has gained various awards and nominations for her contributions to the music industry, including the 2011 Critics’ Choice BRIT Award and the BBC’s Sound of 2011.

Jessie J recently released her third album Sweet Talker, which features singles ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Burnin’ Up’.
