Brit-Award winner James Morrison is performing in Glasgow’s O2 Academy for one night only in March 2016!

James Morrison has announced a further string of UK dates supporting his latest album, Higher Than Here, and will be playing Glasgow’s O2 Academy on the 4th of March 2016.

This tour will act as the second part of Morrison’s run of shows that started this week.

This makes the first release since 2011’s The Awakening for the Rugby singer-songwriter. Earning national attention with the release of his no. 1 debut album ‘Undiscovered’ in 2006, it wasn’t long before James Morrison was wowing festival and gig goers everywhere. He released his second album, ‘Songs for You, Truths for Me’ in 2008, which featured the top ten singles ‘You Make It Real’ and his critically acclaimed collaboration with Nelly Furtado, ‘Broken Strings’. His third studio album, ‘The Awakening’, was released in September 2011 and reached no. 1 in the UK albums charts, and his first single from the album ‘I Won’t Let You Go’ debuted at no. 5 in the UK singles charts.

His latest album, ‘Higher Than Here’ has  To support this momentous occasion, the ‘Broken Strings’ man will be racking up some serious van miles touring up and down the country from now until 25 November and then once again from 4 March to 18 March.

Great news for anyone in Glasgow, Manchester, Southend, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Southhampton and last, but not least, Camden’s Roundhouse so you can tell your mates you’ve seen a Morrison at The Roundhouse. With all these dates being released, you’ve got no excuse not to check out the new Morrison material.

Tickets for James Morrison’s Higher Than Here tour are available from 10am on 20 November, so be sure to pop that in your diary if you missed the chance to see him this Autumn.

With these powerful singles along with some of his earlier hits including ‘Wonderful World’ and ‘You Give Me Something’ amongst his set list, James Morrison tickets are sure to fly out the door!  So make sure you get yours quick.
