The Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition returns to Glasgow’s SECC this autumn for its seventh year having established itself as the country’s leading interiors event.
Over 100 designers and interiors companies, from BoConcept to Zoffany, will be on hand over the weekend showcasing what’s hot in the world of interiors and giving guests inspiration on how to make over each room of the house.
Over the weekend look out for a presentation by world-renowned designer Sue Timney, cookery demonstrations with top Scottish chef John Quigley and a show stopping Interior Design Showcase, featuring beautiful room sets created by eight of Scotland’s leading designers – guaranteed to excite and inspire guests.
There are a great many new, and recurring attractions at this years festival:
Interior Inspiration Area: Some of the finest textile brands have been gathered together, featuring this season’s latest wallpapers and fabrics, to help you make the right choices for your home. Leaf through swatch books and check out sample boards created by some of the best design houses across the globe. It’s a great way to find new looks or simply discover your own interiors style.
Free Talks: This year there is a jam-packed schedule of talks and demonstrations from a selection of experts including Sue Timney, John Amabile, Jim Hamilton, Nick Priestly and Crichton Wood will talk us through their specialist fields.
Art Gallery Area: A dedicated art gallery brings you a variety of work by a host of artists from Scotland’s rich artistic landscape. Hundreds of paintings will be on sale as well as prints and drawings – perfect Christmas presents.
Wine Tasting Theatre: Tantalise your tastebuds and learn how to appreciate wine in the special Wine Tasting Theatre. The experts at The Ubiquitous Chip know their wine, and by the time they’ve finished, so will you!
