Homecoming Scotland 2009

Throughout 2009

In 2009, Scotland will host its first homecoming year in order to celebrate Scotland’s great contributions to the world.

Such contributions include golf, whisky, technological and medical innovations, a rich ancestry and culture, and the work of Robert Burns whose 250th anniversary is in 2009.

Homecoming Scotland will incorporate a year long programme of events, starting with Burns Illuminated from the 23rd – 25th January 2009.
