Glasgow’s Santa Dash is back for another fun charity fundraiser!
Make sure your name appears on Santa’s nice list this year! Register for Glasgow’s Santa Dash and help raise money for charity. This year’s nominated charities will be confirmed soon.
The 5K Fun Run will follow a route through the City Centre, both starting and finishing in George Square. Santa suits are supplied with each registration, and are available in both child and adult sizes.
The 2010 run was postponed until January due to December’s severe weather, though more than 3000 people still turned out, bearded and booted for the charity Santa Dash. In 2009, more than 3,300 runners took part in the Glasgow Santa Dash. Although the temperature in the early morning was a rather frosty -2°C, the thousands of runners soon warmed up when the race started at 9.30am!
Entry
Entry is £15 for adults, and £5 for children (those under 16). This includes your santa suit!!! Children can only take part if they accompanied by an adult.
How to Register
You can register online on the Glasgow City Council website. Each entry is for one person, so if you’re doing it with someone else, you will need to fill out 2 registration forms. Alternatively, you can register by post (the form is also available from the council website).
