This festive season, for the first time, Glasgow’s George Square will be host to a giant observation wheel!!!
This Christmas, see Glasgow from a different perspective… Soaring almost 130 feet/40 metres above George Square in the giant ferris wheel, you’ll have a great view of the Glasgow skyline, day or night.
Passengers enter one of the 30 fully enclosed, climate controlled capsules of the big wheel in George Square. The capsules allow 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding area. You will be gently lifted to a height of almost 40 metres revealing spectacular views of this magnificent city.
Your journey will last approximately 13 minutes and you will have the option of a commentary pointing out local landmarks.
A VIP capsule with DVD, glass floor and champagne on ice is also available.
The big wheel in George Square is opened daily (Monday to Sunday) from 10am to 10pm. It will be closed on the 25th and 26th December.
