Spanish heart-throb Enrique Iglesias has announced 1 night in Glasgow’s Hydro Arena as part of his upcoming world tour, plus very special guest Demi Lovato.
After starting his career on the Mexican music label, Fonovisa, and releasing the biggest selling Spanish language album of the 1990’s, Enrique made a crossover into the mainstream English language market just before the millenium. He has sold more than 100 million albums (albums and singles combined) worldwide, released nine studio albums plus two greatest hits compilations, and is a multiplatinum artist in almost every country around the world.
Undeniably the biggest Latin recording artist in music history, Enrique has 23 number 1 singles on the Billboard Latin Songs Chart as well as having multiple number 1’s across the Billboard charts with a combined total of 69 number 1 charted positions! His 11th number 1 Dance Club Song, “Tonight (I’m Loving You),” made him the king of the chart beating out Michael Jackson for the most number 1’s in Billboard history. He has had ten top ten singles in the UK singles charts, and five top ten albums including his latest album, Euphoria.
Enrique has headlined nine world tours throughout his career having performed in literally every corner of the world including New York, Mexico, Madrid, London, Sydney, as well as going to cities such as Cairo, Latvia, Minsk, Morocco, Istanbul and Cape Town.
