The good:
Excellent authentic tapas served by friendly staff in a clean and interesting restaurant.
The not so good:
Although it is tapas, the portion size is not a generous as other tapas restaurants. You may come away hungry (especially if you do not eat bread!).
Food & service are consistently of exceptional quality. I would strongly advise booking, especially if any major events at Hampden (e.g. footie matches or Pop Concerts etc.) are on.
A wide variety of Spanish dishes in tapas form (mini-dishes, taster size) with Scottish themed treats e.g. black pudding, morcilla, meatballs
House Rioja is spot-on and ggod value (served in large jug).
Mains are available for those who aren’t tapas-minded e.g. rib eye steak with patatas bravas
Major tip – look for the specials (on chalk board) – these represent the very best value.
Warning – tables are tightly squeezed togethre so leg-room is limited!
This is an intimate restaurant which always has a fantastic atmosphere – a little bit of Spain on the Southside. Always really busy, so you should book in advance, there is a great selection on the menu and always loads of specials to choose from. I love the black pudding dish and always have the patats bravas, all washed down with some sangria!
The staff are really attentative and often there is a shot and some homemade tablet with compliments when paying the bill.
A great restaurant!
Fantastic food, friendly staff. Best tapas i have had in a very long time.
