The Osprey is my Christmas traditon. Every family has their own little things they do each year like going shopping on christmas eve, or indeed going to see the lights getting switched on. For me the ideal place to go after a day shopping has to be the Osprey, with its traditional log fires and beamed roofs and wintery decor, its magical.
As you people watch you see everyone from tiny babies to their grandparents enjoying Sunday roasts and Gastro hearty food. You could easily fall asleep in front of the fire after a combination of warm soup and crusty bread, followed by roast beef and my personal favourite of hot fudge cake and ice cream. I dont even think the staff would mind as they are all so lovely.
