Keeping the traditions of Italian food alive, La Vita have brought a whole new vitality to the heart of Glasgow with the introduction of this new courtyard style restaurant. Its corner location gives the best of both worlds and allows for one of the most enviable ‘people watching’ locations in all of Glasgow. Perfect for a spot of food after a hard days shopping…

I went for lunch a few weeks ago with some friends from work, and have never had such terrible service in my life. The staff member serving us was extremely rude, and when we complained we were told that’s just the way he is. Unbelievable!
Food wasn’t brilliant either, but for the price would have been acceptable had there been service with a smile.
The service was ok, but the food wasn’t even close to being good. They even managed to give me some meat in my vegetarian main meal. And didn’t apologise for it either… It’s unlikely that I’ll be back. DEFINITELY NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY!
It was ok, nothing amazing. We were there on busy Friday evening and the service was very promt.
The food was below average, but it is a center location and for the price you are paying, i’m not sure i was expecting it to be much better. The starter was terrible, cheap and nasty, main was a lot better, bordering on being quite good.
This really is a horrible restaurant. I was really unhappy with the service, the wait for food, and the food that eventually arrived. Yuck.
Cheap n’ cheerful. Lots on the menu, but the service is terrible. Too many seats and not enough people to serve.
My favourite restaurant in Glasgow has to be ‘La Vita’ situaited at the corner of Georges Square. The restaraunt itself is spotless and has 3 floors so there are plenty of window seats.
The atmosphere is great and the Waiters are very friendly & chatty. Every time I have visited, I have been impressed with the great service. The food is Italian with lots of pastas, pizzas and also meat and fish dishes. I usually go for the ‘Jimmy Style’ option which means you and a friend can choose a pizza and pasta and get half each!
All in all, great atmosphere, great service, great location and amazing food…..
I have been to La Vita many times over the years with friends and family and will defo be going for years to come.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food is fantastic because it is made fresh on the premises and the prices are excellent too. Service is excellent and staff are very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant is always very busy and the atmosphere is always very good. I look forward to my next visit.
Me and my girlfriend love going to La Vita either in Bishopbriggs or in Glasgow, just off George Square.
The atmosphere of the place is second to none, and all the waiters couldnt be nicer!
The food is absolutely brilliant aswell, with my favourite having to be the Lasagne!! Whats more, the prices are very reasonable for a city restaurant. Any one who goes, will definetly go back.
la vita is one of the best italian restaurant in glasgow, they have the nicest pleasent staff and the food portions are always big, i would recomend to everyone.
La vita set at the corner of George square. You walk in and are greeted by a friendly host the restaurant is warm smells from the kitchen amazing. Menu and wine to die for recommend the bruschetta and casa mia yum. This restaurant has been visited by myself and others for years for birthdays, graduation first dates. Great value for money and friendly attentive waiters. Easily best Italian In Glasgow.
La Vita looks over one of my favourite places in Glasgow (George Square)….when the lights are all on its the perfect romantic experience to sit in the cosy restaurant and eat a meal with the one you love while overlooking the glittering xmas lights. Not only is the location perfect only being a stone throw from the train stations but the food is outstanding. everything is so fresh and you get the true Italian experience while being there. The staff are so attentive and have a certain buzz about them which makes you feel welcome and they appear to have fun even though they are working hard. My personal favourite thing from the menu is the lobster ravioli.
excellent itallian restraunt food and house wine delicious. Couldn’t eat anywhere else!
La Vita restaurant is first class with great atmosphere. Have been there several times staff and food were great and lovley view on to george square .
