Established in 1964, the Koh-I-Noor was the first Indian restaurant in Glasgow to offer an evening buffet to diners, which it continues to offer to this day.

Hailing from the Punjab, the restaurant continues to be run as a family business by the present owner, Rasul (or Russell) and his son Waseem, the grandson of the founder.  As such, Punjabi specialities such as Paratha and Bhuna Lamb are particularly recommended.

The Koh-i-Noor Restaurant prides itself in the fact that the excellence of the food is matched by the courtesy and efficiency of the service, and by the spotlessness of the kitchens.
