Dino’s is lovely and cosy and the service is quick and attentive. The Sauchiehall St outlet also has an adjoining takeaway shop which is open till late. Brilliant for a late night pizza on the weekend…
Everything in Dino’s is freshly cooked in-house, from pizzas, pastas, soups to the bread rolls which are fired in the pizza ovens every morning. The minestrone nostrano is so chunky and filling it could barely even be considered a soup, and floats with big, wholesome lumps of vegetable and pasta. By far the best items on the menu are the pizzas, which are definitely the specialty in Dino’s; for just a couple of pounds you get two huge slices of pizza with salad.
I took my girlfriend to Dino’s restaurant in sauchiehall street as part of a surprise for her. The staff there were really friendly with us. We both ordered a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs that we shared together – afterwards we had got ice cream and our stomachs were full. That cost less that £20 for the two of us.
