Went to Pulcinella today with 8 work colleagues for the 3 course £7.50 lunch. Great value for money, portions massive, friendly and efficient staff and food delivered to table quickly and all at the same time! Food was really tasty. Will defo go back and highly recommend!

Just been to xscape for a family meal and will not be returning. The starter nachos were tasteless the grilled chicken burger was in a kids size bun and despite asking for cheese this was not on the meal but was on the bill......I queried the bun size and 15 chips only to be told that is the normal size....what a con as the menu describes a bun but it is really a mini bap. I would also beware of the salad as we witnessed a member of waiting staff putting this onto a plate from a plastic tub at the front of the serving area then wiping his hands on his trousers only to repeat the same thing on another plate yeeeeeuch. Not worth the money we paid and very disappointed you have been warned

Had a fantastic meal at Bo'Vine a couple of nights ago. Had the sirloin and my husband had the prime fillet. Both were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Service impeccable. And the wine list wasn't too shabby either...

We have used La Vita a number of times over the years since it opened and it has slowly but surely declined in quality of food and service. There is a new manager and his idea of how treat customers borders on Basil Fawlty style. He is rude and arrogant. We booked for a family meal and there were 10 people in total and were told we'd have to pay a £50 deposit , something which we'd never been asked for before for such a booking, the manager harrassed us for the deposit, phoning us several times times over the week looking for it to be paid and threatening to give the table to another party if they paid first, the only reason we persevered with this place was because several of us had gift vouchers to use up or we certainly would have went elsewhere. Once at the restaurant we waited half an hour for them to even take the drinks order, and 45 minutes before they took the food order. We couldn't believe our ears when the manager made a crude comment about spitting in my brothers food. We have no intention of returning here and will use the restaurants locally who do appear to appreciate your business instead of the "we're doing you a favour attitude" that comes with dining in La Vita.

Had a big family celebration dinner in Cafe Source recently, & Cafe Source totally made the night for us all.

Staff went out of their way to accomodate us. The service was brilliant - so attentive and friendly.

Most importantly, the food was exceptional - everyone loved it - even the fusspots!

Definite 5 out of 5 stars

I have been to la vita bishopbriggs a number of times over the years and always thought that the food was ok, slightly over- priced and the customer service always left alot to be desired! I tried to book this restaurant for a family celebration, i wouldn't have been my first choice but we had to stay local. When I phoned I was told that because there were 8 people I had to pay a £50 deposit!! I said to the 'manager' that there were 8 people in my family why would I have to book, it was 5pm at night, its not like the restaurant would be that busy. The manager then told me if I didn't like it then i could go elsewhere as they didn't need my business. I have never been to a restaurant that treat their customers with such disrespect especially when you are spending your hard earned money in their restaurant. This was my experience before I even entered the place so I took my £300 and went to eagle lodge bishopbriggs who couldn't have done enough for us. I will also say that their customer service is just as poor when you are in the restaurant, they practically sit you on the laps of other customers to cram you in to make as much money as possible. The waiters are cheeky and arrogant. I would also advise you not to try the one in Glasgow City Centre either as it is just as bad.

went yesterday to celebrate a birthday and had the pre theatre and won't be coming back.
The portions were tiny and not large enough even to allow for your partner to have a taste without feeling that they were taking half the portion! The cooking was below average. Had overcooked squid and the garlic bread was doughy andcertainly not worth the extortionate prices(beware the set price menu includes 1/3 of dishes wanting £1 and £2 supplements
There are much better places in town and this was a case of style over substance. I left feeling disappointed and ripped off. They seem to rely on passing trade and not really bothered if you come back or not
